Odd, I can't hard reset.

I'm having an odd problem.

I installed some of the NueTools and my Touch Pro is hanging. Alright I said, time for a hard reset.

I pulled out the stylus and held down the volume down key and the enter key. I went and pressed the reset button.

Oddly enough, nothing happens. I can't get my phone to ask if I want to hard reset.

I can enter the bootloader mode though, so all is not lost if I decide to just run the ROM update utility but I find this odd that I cannot hard reset using the buttons.

I've been searching for an hour now and I tried a combination of the volume down, enter, and power button but none of those worked. I even tried holding everything down until the screen turned on.

Still nothing. Any tips? I'm in the process of reinstalling my ROM to just wipe the phone, but this is just odd.

Re: Odd, I can't hard reset.

I usually HR by turning the phone off, holding Volume Down + Enter + Power.

If that still doesn't work, you can go to Settings>System>Clear Storage to hard reset.

Re: Odd, I can't hard reset.

What's odd is I wasn't able to have the phone boot. It was hanging at the animated splash screen so I wasn't able to use the software wipe.

I ended up just reinstalling the ROM i had which solved my problem. What stinks still is I still can't hard reset with the buttons.

Edit: Ah HA! Apparently just holding down the center button on my touch pro is how I need to hard reset my device.

I was following a picture that said it had to be upside down as well.

In my case just holding down the center D-pad and restarting did the trick.

Really embarrassing since my first PDA was a Sony Clie back in 2004. Either way i'm happy I know how to do it now.
