ROM Question, and Android Question

When I got my Touch Pro I was very disappointed about the performance. I decided to flash over to the JustWorks ROM. It works great, but I'm looking for more. I've tried searching but I can't quite get the criteria for the search down. Can anyone give me some suggestions on some other ROM's? I like the high performance and the bare bone style of the ROM's and can't stand when its loaded with any programs other than what I want. Can anyone help me out on some suggestions?

Also, I've been looking into trying out the Android thing, but so far all I can find is being able to run it of a SD card. Is there anyway I can try it out without running it on the SD card, as I don't have the funds to buy one.

Re: ROM Question, and Android Question

Unfortunately the only way to run Android, right now, is from the SD card. I'm on Sprint and if I go Android, I need to upgrade my plan which is too expensive for me considering I'm on a family plan.

Regarding the custom roms, your best bet is to try each rom. ROM preference is very personal and you won't know until you try them. Plus, your needs will change over time. Early on I used a bare rom and loaded several apps and used the today screen. Now, with Sense 2.5 and Co0kie's home tab, I don't need the today screen.

Since you are on Verizon, a rom that takes up little memory would be a focus for you.

Another option would be to find a kitchen and customize one for yourself.

Good Luck and happy flashing.
