Phone ran out of battery power...now has all sorts of problems

So...a few weeks ago I let my TP run out of battery power completely (as has happened several times). Only this time, I left it somewhere by accident and didn't end up recharging it until I got it back several days later. So the battery level probably got lower than it ever has before.

After recharging, the phone has developed numerous problems. Different ROMs exhibit different problems. On MightyROM, none of the hardware buttons work at all (except power), and TouchFlo 3D takes several hours to load. Yes, several hours: I can sit and watch the "HTC" logo forever, then let it sit overnight, and the next morning TF3D is finally loaded. But after that, it's smooth, for the most part. On EnergyROM, Sense loads fine, but the whole phone is unusably slow: I mean "slow" as in the start menu takes about thirty seconds to load.

I've flashed back to stock (shipped) and hard reset several times. I've tried three radios and three ROMs. Each combination has a different set of problems, but they all have problems nonetheless. It's as if a certain location of memory in my device has become permanently corrupted, and since different ROMs use that section of memory in different ways, they all exhibit unique problems.

On stock, TF3D never loads at all, and the hardware buttons still don't work.

Does it look like I'll be getting this phone replaced? I've had it for one year and two months now, and I'm saving my upgrade credit for the Evo, but I need a working phone between now and that phone's release date. What's the best way to get a quick replacement? I bought the phone at Best Buy and got a $10/month protection plan with Geek Squad. Should I use that, or should I talk to Sprint directly first?

Just tried this, and it didn't help. I still have no TF3D or hardware buttons immediately after flashing to stock shipped + hard reset.

Still wondering whether I should take it to BB or Sprint first.
