Question fast ROM without ANY extras 6.5/6.1?

i have an old Sprint Touch Pro that i don't use anymore

i am going to use it as a WI-FI webcam only, so i don't need it to run anything else
i have an old juicy rom with 6.5 and the app is very slow with a big delay

which ROM would work best? i don't mind 6.1 if it runs smoother
Thanks

Try stock or a stripped MightyROM. Mighty's are usually fairly slim, although he hasn't released anything for the TP in a while.

Ill say go check out DCD's roms. Extremely lightweight and stable. barebones and fast. I find them to be perfect.

Re: fast ROM without ANY extras 6.5/6.1?

If you want a more up to date rom that runs extremely lightweight, barebones and stable I'd recommend swinnRom. I used to use DCD until he stopped updating, now swinnRom is pretty much the same thing with the same reliability, very lightweight and fast and up to date as well.

Re: fast ROM without ANY extras 6.5/6.1?

swinn seems really fast on my touch pro.. so far! plus 6.5.5 is better than sense 2.5 for speed and workflow.

Re: fast ROM without ANY extras 6.5/6.1?

Anything for the TP with Sense 2.5 in it is going to be quite a bit slower and less responsive.

Swinn uncompressed the files in the rom as well, since we have plenty of storage on our TP's, so it makes it faster and more responsive as well. I also run it at 32mb pagepool and it's pretty amazing how fast and responsive it is!
