Touch Pro is now overclockable No2chem did it!

If this is posted already. You can close this thread. I did a search and didn't find it anywhere. The link below says it all. Now I just wonder the possibilities, positives and negatives. We shall see.

not necessarily, my phone is running at 528mhz at 1.1volts. Whereas the stock voltage is 1.375, the voltage factor is what adds heat (and power consumption) so even if I clocked it high enough that it needed 1.375 volts, it would never get hotter than a bone stock Touch Pro but would be much zippier

Can't wait for No2chem to come out with the overclock tool. I would expect a very noticeable difference. I saw the difference moving from my Mogul that was 400 mhz to the touch pro with 528mhz. And now 800mhz! Glad I donate so I can get all the great tools he makes asap.

That No2chem is a nut, You cant pry a his PPC outta his hand even with a tazer and a crowbar! Now if you offer a better PPC....

the question that pops in my mind is, can the same technique be used to overclock the touch pro 2??

well i only overclocked amd cpus and they crave volts so thats why i was talking about heat. im guessing unstable with higher freq and same volts as stock.

The processor is very similar so i'd suppose so.
