Why is it better? What have you read about the cpu differences?

Touch Pro:
Qualcomm® MSM7201A™ 528 MHz

Touch Pro 2
Qualcomm® MSM7600™, 528 MHz

I believe that the 7600 chipset is based off of the original Tilt; though gimped on RAM, still shines on all the benchmarks that I ran. However, I have used a friends (stock) TP2 and was not impressed to say the least. And I had like 2 buttons as opposed to my current d-pad, select, home, back, call and call end buttons. Not only that, there will not be an available port to WM7 in either case from MS and the cooks would need time if it were even possible.

I wouldn't switch anyway, saving my upgrade (since november) for the Supersonic. Android is the only (somewhat) worked on OS right now and the Palm crap

so you got a letter confirming that they will not exchange or are you just saying this because you got a tp back?

Re: Asurion is NOT exchanging TP for TP2 as of March 8,2010

I fought with somebody for 30 min to send me a TP2 as they sent me 4 tps and all were screwed up. i finally had enough and called to complain to a rep who actually listened..

they upgraded me (i had to pay the full amount up front, but my tp2 is coming in the mail tomorrow). but the rep gave a nice credit for the issues ive been having with my phones. plus im selling my TP so ill be paying about 30 bucks for the tp2

Re: Asurion is NOT exchanging TP for TP2 as of March 8,2010

Wow.. there is still alot of Tp's out there huh. I am hoping ,y keyboard dies for the 4th time to nag a little and try to get a TP 2. But I am a bit torn in how the TP2 has less stuff than the TP. In my eyes the Tp2 only has a bigger screen. Thats it.
