Threaded Text Messaging defaulting to OLDER messages?

I've searched but haven't gotten an answer. This has been pissing me off for months now. Whenever I receive a message from somebody, and I click their thread to open it, it always defaults to older messages. I have to scroll and click "Newer" like 3-4 times to see the newest message. Is there any way to fix this to go to the newest message?

do your messages have a date of 2016 as well?

if you have received messages with the sate 2016 and then installed the patch to fix the date, the 2016 messages are still read as the newest message as he have yet to hit that date. the messages with the 2010 date will then be read as older messages.

either way, try deleting your messages and see if that helps.

I'm on Juicy 4.0. I've got the 2016 fix, I don't have that problem.

And you have a TP? Juicy left off at 8 for his TP roms. Do you know what build you have? Honestly I would update to a newer rom if its been a loooong time since you flashed.

I updated the other day but hated the ROM that I flashed. I'll check out juicy's 8.0. I know I'm running 4.0. It has been a while since I've flashed.

careful with juicy 8, they took it off of ppcg because of the timebomb issue. but i would def. try a more up to date rom to see if that makes a difference (sure it will).

The roms that are best for the TP now are ROOT and Energy. Others have weight, but these are the two that people seem to go to. no issues with me running either one (besides usual bugs)
