Best rom with sense for my TP

Just picked me up a TP on eBay (ditched the q9m for the omnia, ditched the omnia for the TP), anyways there are some really cool roms, but i wondering what the general like is for a rom with sense? I don't know the differences between sense 2.1 and 2.5 and if* it could slow the phone down, but im willing to try a few roms if that's what it takes!

I will speak on behalf of everyone here when I say this. The best thing would be for you to download a rom with Sense and see how you like it. This question gets asked at least 6 times a day from people so I appologize if my answer is blunt and rude...Im not intentinally being so, its just what rom works for you does not always work for someone else so it all falls upon personal preference. Its like asking a person whats better a Toyota or a Honda. Or Ford or Chevy?

Sense 2.1 vs 2.5: until recently, the advantage of 2.1 was that it could do landscape, whereas 2.5 couldn't. Now, 2.5 can do landscape, so in my opinion, there's no sense (lame pun intended) in getting 2.1.

As for which ROM, well, that's up to you. I haven't tried them all, but I like RootRom.

Thanks for the info and i bet this is asked a lot but some feedback is always good!! Can sense 2.5 be installed over 2.1 if the room isnt updated??

it can, but you dont want to do it that way. sense 2.1/2.5 is built into the rom, and works best that way. so, if you want to go from 2.1 to 2.5, it's best to flash to a new rom that has 2.5

+1 for ROOTROM, but to each their own. With roms its trial and error, you might like the programs included with one, but hate the skin, or you might love the skin but not have enough programs.

In that case learn to build your own. but with roms now, sense 2.5 is just as fast as anything else. i use ROOTs roms mainly, and i know they fly as far as response and quickness goes, but as with all of these builds, there are bugs, but a soft reset never hurts anybody.

wait! sense 2.5 interface consumes about 90mb of your RAM. so is there sense flashing it? your tp won't even start up man. i tried energy on mine. the same story - dead display. so had to move back to mighty6...

Uh, sense 2.5 works perfectly fine. I've installed a few of them from here and they worked fine. I just think they're ugly as sin so I stick with 6.1 and basic 6.5 roms and customize them to my liking.

your running a sprint TP the OP and the guy that said that are both running VZN TP's.

you have to change the PP size on most roms so they run on the VZN TP. im running winmo 6.1 with a sense UI from another site over SPB MS and it runs just fine. im sitting at 50-52% used all day. i changed the PP down to below 6 i believe and everything runs just fine.
