Insurance will send me a new phone??? Cant sell!

So I cracked the screen (TP2), so now all I see is cracks and lines. But everything else works (at least calling-i just open the keyboard). So two q's do I tell them it broke and keep ot for no reason? I mean i cant sell it bc it has my stored email passwords and if i sell it and the guy fixes it he'll have my info. Also sprint said theyll send me a new one bc they dont have refurbs in stock. I thought u get a new one anyways? Bc I wanted to get the new one, sell it, and buy the TP new (I hate the TP2!).

if it's physically damaged, you'll be charged. only lost or stolen phones are a problem, you can sell the damaged one. from what you posted, it sounds like you want a new tp, then sell it just to get another tp....?

please trade someone who has a newly refurbished touch pro. they don't sell them new anymore and some people really want a touch pro2 when their tp1 craps out and all they get is a refurb touch pro1. and if you are getting a replacement through insurance they are going to want the broken one arent they.

Well the thing is I really dont want a refurb TP, bc I know how bad they are! My new TP lasted me about a year then started to fail. I then went through 4 refurb TP's in 2 weeks. Not doing that again!

correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't you suppose to send the old one back to sprint (or "asurion") when you get a new one as an insurance replacement???

hence you will not be able to sell the old one? even if you dont have that e-mail issue.
