microsd issues

just recently my microsdhc card, a kingston 4gb class 4, won't let me boot android or flash a rom. this started when i first tried to flash a rom, renamed it to RAPHIMG.nbh and threw it on there with my android install, did the usual power+voldown+reset and get to the the tri colored menu, but it flashes "no image found" and goes to serial. now, when i try to boot android it stops and in the console is "failed to mount the SD card. cannot continue."

i have reformatted the microsd many times, in windows 7, xp and with nuestoragemanager. i have tried copying over the rom and android many times, nothing gets different results. the files are seen perfectly in winmo.

Is there something i'm missing?

I don't know about the android issue because it works on mine.

however I couldn't use mine for flashing because mine's an HC (8gb class 6)

Re: microsd issues

my sister's 2g works fine for android, i'm thinking defective card. i just got it because i lost my 2g and sadly i just threw out the box. ah well, i'll stop by microcenter for another 2g tomorrow.

EDIT

que curioso. i do a full format with the program on sdcard.org and now android boots again. no go for flashing, however, still says no image found. i guess i'll stay with a few month old nfsfan rom then.
