New phone wont recognize old micro SD card?

So I just received my 3rd TP! And I put in my microsd card and when plugged into my computer it pops up (my phone doesnt-didnt sync it with my laptop yet). But on my phone it does not exist! SO after doing some research the only answer I found was to format it and do a soft reset. Didn't work. So, any ideas?

dude, what OS are you running on you laptop? do you hit "my computer" to find your SD? what steps do you take? do you have "disk drive selected in your tp under settings/system/connection/USB?

Re: New phone wont recognize old micro SD card?

i got a refurb mogul back in the day as a replacement. micro card didn't read. just took it back into the store and they sent me another replacement. i would assume it is a refurb since they don't produce these anymore. i have to replace my third phone which i just got in yesterday. it is stuck in landscape mode and when you slide the keyboard open it makes a click sound like something is loose or not lining up. never heard it on any of my other ones

Do you have the means to test the card in another tp?

Re: New phone wont recognize old micro SD card?

It sounds like a bad MicroSD slot. Happened to me before.
