Disabling Microsoft Push

Has anyone came across a method of disabling Microsoft Push functionality completely. I go into Comm Manager, and it is on, I click the "Off Button", exit Comm Manager and come back in, and it is On. Unless there is some underlying dependency, I have no need for this. I get so much email, that having it check once an hour is fine, I am not so important as to need to receive the latest spam email from my mother the moment it arrives at my Exchange Server.

I have seen other threads, but none has a solution. Ultimately I want to just check my email once per hour. If that is what is causing the "Direct Push" to fire, I will have to deal with it, but I thought I would give it a try.

Re: Disabling Microsoft Push

Direct push is only for Exchange Servers, so if you have one configured, it will be 'On'. Otherwise it should be 'greyed' out (or dimmed if you will) and not selectable.
