Having issues with Cricket MMS

Hey, sorry if I'm repeating a thread here, but I didn't really see anyone with the same problem as me. Well, I just finished flashing my Touch Pro over to cricket and everything seemed to be working fine until I tried logging in for the internet. I used my number @ mycricket.com and cricket for the login but I got the error that says something along the lines that either it attempted to dail #777 or that my info is wrong. I've tried refreshing my data and mms but it hasn't really done anything.

If I soft reset internet works fine, but mms is screwy, saying that i cannot be decoded. I've already tried the two for one cab and that puts me in the same situation. I'm using MightROM6 by the way. So does anyone know what's going on, or is it just a matter of refreshing everything again?

what r u using for internet browsing? if ur using i.e. then thats causing all ur problems, if not then make sure ur waptype is set to 1 in ur cricket mmsc settings located in hklm/software/arcsoft/arcsoft mms ua/config/mm1/mmscsettings

It's most likely not a ROM/device issue. It is most likely a cricket issue! Call cricket have them REMOVE the MMS feature and then add it back in. It may take you 50 times to have them do it right because they lie and will say they did it when all they did is refresh it. Which might also work!

I experimented last Monday with the manager of my local corp store and we spent some time rebuilding my line and now all is well. But cricket MMS is an ever changing thing and as I've learned what works in my market may not work else where.
Like in Utah crickets HTML data plan runs through Mobile IP prefered in PA it runs through simple IP only. So it is market dependent.

I was told that the Moto evoke is unable to receive MMS, so if your account says evoke you are unable to get MMS just e-mail.

If you are using a cricket WAP/MMS cab all the setting are made for you and you do not need to make any adjustments even for I.E. and if you are making adjustments that could be part of an issue.

Wow, thanks for the fast replied guys. I got them both working, it seems my login was a little weird. I wasn't supposed to use my phone number I guess. So out of a hunch I used another 10 digit number I input during the flash and it worked! I don't know if it's a weird situation or if it was just a newbie mistake but I guess that was the problem. Haha, sorry guys.

What other 10 digit # did you use? Your MIN? If so that is strange but like I said cricket is ever changing things!

IP for what be a little clearer? GPS? WAP? MMS? In general you should be able to a DOS command ping wap.mycricket.com while tethered and get the IP. or are you asking about MIP or SIP?
