Help me pick a ROM!

Trying to do the y2kx fix and need to update my rom.
I was thinking I would just give a custom one a try.

I'm looking for something fast and slim.
I use a few apps that are memory hogs and mostly use the calendar and contacts, sms and some web browsing. (business oriented.)
I currently have SLU2 loaded and plan to load it again. other that that the phone is fairly stock. (I have installed most of the essentials.)

Any suggestions? I've been reading about Titanium and others, just don't know which is a good fit for me. I don't have time to test a bunch out and wouldn't be updateing my rom if I wasn't frustrated by the sms timestamp issue enough to do so.

Sprint,

Mighty Rom is what I have downloaded and planned on if no one suggested anything else.
I think its going to be the one.

Will the y2kx patch work on mighty rom?

I would suggest EmpriRom. The ROM is not supported by the chef anymore but from what you said about fast and stable that ROM was Very Fast, Stable and give you an amazing battery life.
