Flashing Help

Im trying to upgrade my ROM to NFSFANs latest (6.5.3 v1.03b) but once I start the flash I loose my active sync connection and it says it cant connect. any ideas? Ive tried to go back to stock too, same thing. Im currently on an older nfsfan rom

I had a similar problem about a month ago... Ended up being the usb cable was so old. I think it was still the one I got with my 6700 years ago. Im using a new cable that I got with my refurb touch pro and havent had problems since..
Sd flash would work just fine though. Or manually putting phone into bootloader before you connect to the pc. But the second one might be a bad idea especially if the usb shits out mid-update.

I've had the same problem happened to me. Try going to start/settings/connections/usb to pc/ "uncheck" enable faster data sync. Hope this help.

i tried a differnt usb cable & it worked. funny, i used this cable for all my other flashes with no problems.. oh well, hopefully the newer nfsfan rom is as good as the one i was using!
