SMS Not Sending
 

Hey All,

I have been lurking on the forums for a while now. I have flashed my phone (HTC Touch Pro, Sprint) to the newest EnergyRom. Now here is my problem. I cant get SMS messages to send. I can receive them fine, its just sending thats the problem. When I send a text message, it goes into the "Outgoing" folder and stays there forever. I tried to manually send and receive to no avail, and I also tried re-flashing and applying a new radio. I dont know what else to do. The other phones on my plan are working fine with text messaging, so I think it is just my phone. Should I call my network company?

call ur provider to refresh ur txt, or try taking out ur battery for a min. and putting it back in and see if that fixes the problem

I had the same problem... Are you using SPB mobile shell? My phone would work perfectly until that was intstalled. Once I removed it it worked fine again

I'm currently using SPB's Mobile Shell 3.5 with an Energy Rom and also cannot send SMS messages. I can send if I switch over to the Sense UI. Haven't had a chance to test with older Mobile Shell though.

Hey Guys,

Time to report in. I found out that solving the issue was to change the ROM itself (idk what it was in it that made it unable to work though). I moved from the latest EnergyRom to the latest MightyRom (although I still like EnergyRom better). After switching it worked fine.
