Touch Pro/ PP and Tomtom 730

Hello guys,
I just became the member of PP with Touch Pro. I already had a tom tom 730, that I was using with my htc shadow, however; I was only using it as speaker phone. I was very excited, that I will be able to use data service on my tom tom now, but, for some reason I am not even able to sync them together. I have tried almost everything that I found out there.... including manually setting it with verizon settings, and changing the number to #777, instal a quick fix for the blue tooth, leaving everything blank other than the number ... bla bla bla... It hooks up, but does not connet, and data service does not hook up at all..
I think I am running WM6.5. Anyone out there that knows the solution? Its not gona help me only, but a bunch of people, that I got in touch during my research .
