I know when I have all my data apps updating automaticly this runs my battery down quickly (stocks, weather, activesync, live mail, twitter etc.) I just set everything to manual updates. Also Lumos is great for keeping the backlight from draining as well. I also set the data to disconnect after one minute too, this helps a little as well. I am using Energy's Dusk Manila 2.5 28011 build, so far this build has been good with battery life. If your not into the manila 2.5 roms I recommend Psyki's Rom this was great on battery life for me.

Re: TP eating battery life

yeah alot of time when you press x it does not close so yu might be hving too many apps open which might be draining your battery life so you might wanna change to close the program when you clikc x if you choose the other you might wanna use the task manager to close those out if you can't find them where to close so be sure that you are doing that anotherwise battery will always be drained by those programs

Diamond Tweak... just google for it or search the threads... but it is also included in most roms found here, including the two i mentioned earlier.

Re: TP eating battery life

im betting your data is still running, wifi is still on, or you have BT turned on. when your done doing the internet thing go into your comms and turn the data off. the only thing that should be on in there is the phone itself. dont let things auto update because they leave the data on. even with moderate use and being in a low/no service area i still have 1/2 battery left at the end of the day.

those things just stink under normal/any use. apply all battery tweaks and hacks.

Re: TP eating battery life

I have to charge mine fully at least twice a day, but then I'm a power user, and I hate the bigger batteries causing the back to stick out.

Re: TP eating battery life

i recommend trying out nsfan's rom. that is by far the best when it comes to battery performance. Also make sure you dont have unnecessary things turned on like bluetooth / wifi when not in use and also Beam.

i am a heavy user and very frequently utilize mine for weather / temp updates, emails, im etc. i am getting a good 12 hour charge on mine
