sprint touch pro on VZW

OK i know in the past you used to be able to buy a sprint touch pro 2 and get it to work on verizon wireless. Its been a while and i was wondering if this is still possible. I want to sell my old touch pro to a friend and he has verizon wireless. Can some one help me?

AFAIK, it is still possible if you know someone that can personally add the ESN from the new phone to VZ network. Until recently they would allow this but ultimately they have 'closed' their network and won't allow devices outside their database into their network.
