activating unlocked tp??
 

i am selling my verizon touch pro, but it's unlocked and has a different rom on. will the person buying it be able to activate just like any other phone? calling verizon and having them activate the esn or just goin on the internet and activating the esn??

Yes if the phone leaves your account 'clear" (as in no debts or reports of stolen property) Verizon will activate it in any other acct.

looks like today was newbie question day... lol

why wouldnt it work?? do you understand what "unlocked" means even? all your doin is taking the block off so you can use unofficial roms, thats it...

your not making it usable on another network or anything like that.. your not jailbreaking an iphone for tmobile use or anything like that... an unlocked phone the way we unlock em, has no barring whatsoever on the actovation process..... like stated above if ESN is clear, no issues with activation
