In Need of USCC Shipped TP rom

to be specific version 1.08.573.2 shipped. ever since HTC pulled the plug for support from their website (blame USCC too!), i am one unhappy customer. if anybody have this rom stash in a corner somewhere in your hard drive, could u PM me.

HTC didn't pull the plug, they changed their site and the wrong ROM is linked on the TP section. USCC should have the links on their website, but they only have the ROMs for the Touch and their old Motorola. Check back later, I am uploading it to Mediafire now.

As I slipped on some ice outside a business about a week ago and messed mine up and the company is taking their time in replacing, I might take you up on that

Seriously though, glad to help. I had that downloaded before and was going to delete it but wanted to check their site to make note of where I got it from. When I saw they had the wrong one, I decided to keep this one, good thing I did.

I contacted Htc about this the other day as I was in need of the shipped rom also. I checked backed today on their site and the correct rom is now posted.. here is the link:

Yeah, noticed that morning that it wasn't up, but then later on that night they had it fixed.

Found out that even though employees say that they knew there is ice outside their door and they didn't put anything down to prevent people from slipping, if you slip and mess up a phone, they state that there was no negligence on their part. Contact the company that does the insurance for my carrier and they initially wanted to replace the my 6850 with a 6900. Something about it being an upgrade since it is a higher number. Finally think I got them to send a 6850 out, should have it the beginning of next week. It better *not* be a refurbished model. My current phone was brand new in August...Now, if they are nice and send a Touch Pro 2, then I will be VERY happy, but I don't think they will be in that good of a holiday spirit...
