TP for teenager, game cabs especially sports

My teenager is hitting me up for an android phone (apple did not fall far) and I would prefer to give him my sprint TP and upgrade .

So I need suggestions as to programs ;/ games especially sports or texting - video chat related that are only available on windows mobile. He is almost always in range of wifi so any internet radio or free tv cab suggestions appreciated too. I was going to loan him the phone to try out so I would like to preload it with your suggestions.

You should go buy him this phone - click here - because it sounds like your son is running the show. So show him who's boss of the house by giving him this stellar cellular phone! ;P

Wow, or you could just go to the HTC app store & download a ton of free apps. And when your done there, just go to the Windows app store and get a few hundred more free apps.... and then check out the Sprint app store for hundreds more...

*sigh...:sleepy2:

Well no, because very little of the apps and games are free. So you have a small crap choice, but what the heck, if hes desperate, have at it. xD

Dunno, if this is considered warez, mods please delete my post and accept my apologies if it is. :confused1:

There are some very cool NES and SNES emulators out there, just google them. I like PocketSNES, and there is no shortage of ROMS available, I don't know if it's illegal or not to download them, I know that you can donwload ROMS for the C64 at www.c64.com, for example. Even if it isn't legal maybe they are still up because no one cares about trying to make money on games from 20 years ago? I will say that the NES and SNES emulators are decently fun. I had to install KforTP.cab v 1.003 to get the button mappings to work on my pocketSNES emulator, but if you forget to change the settings back to the original before rebooting your phone, could need a hard reset, I did :o But luckily my phone backs itself up every night :D

EDIT:There, I attached an SNES emulator, and the KforTouchPro cab that you need to map the keyboard buttons correctly. I would highly suggest not using KforTouchPro unless you have your phone backing up daily since if you forget to set it back to default before rebooting you may not be able to get back into your phone without doing a hard reset.

Thanks Peter,

I had a zaurus linux pda years ago and remember considerable enthusiasm for game emulators. My teenager is good with computers and how to get old games to run in emulation (and how to back up) might be good motivation for him.
