Phone stuck on Touch Pro Boot Screen STOCK ROM
 

My Touch Pro is a stock Telus rom, last few nights ive left it chargning and i wake up to a black screen and nothing functions, so i just do a soft reset. This morning though, the soft reset didnt work and now im stuck on the Touch Pro screen and i notice this morning it says for R: NONE......

Ive tried a manual HARD RESET and still nothing....anyone have any ideas?

Sounds like the radio has smoked itself. If you have warranty left, see if they will ship you another one. If you have NO warranty left, try and unlock the device and flash a radio from the radio upgrades thread, and the dumped stock rom from the stock rom thread.

If you're out of warranty, at least you won't make it any worse than it currently is by attempting to unlock and flash.

Of course my warrenty was up last month....i dont even know where to start now....this sucks...

flash a new radio, do not think you need to be unlocked for that... but if you do, unlock it and join the rom party! ;)

BUt i dont want to party!!!!

Anyhow so i went to

and then the instructions say:

3. Plug in your phone to your computer via USB and select ActivSync

I cant select active sync, i cant do anything past the Touch Pro screen.....is there another way of doing this???

yes. you can do sd card flash by taking the radio .nbh file and rename it to RAPHIMG and put on root of sd card. take out battery and replace. press/hold valume down and power button. if that don't work, and you have win rar on pc, take attached file below and unpack, put the radio into the folder. repete valume/power button process again without an sd card in device and double click the phone image in file.

jpwhre: I tried the first step and my phone just hangs on the loading screen, your second option doesnt make sense, ur telling me to boot my phone without the mem card??? Then im back to sqaure one?

no, take the folder i gave you and put the radio in it. put the device in bootloader (valume down/power) with out an sd card in, in case you have an .nbh file on it and it tries to read from sd card.

with radio INSIDE the folder i gave you, and you phone in tri-colored bootloader screen, plug your phone into pc, wont do anything. double click the phone icon in the folder i sent and it will flash the radio from your pc without activesync.

alright, everythign worked pretty good....but now its hanging at 0%....this is so fustrating!!! What happend to my phone...

Now im getting error 262: Update Error

does anyone have any ideas? the thread i read about which talk about flashing and unlcoking using the SD care all talking about put certian files on the phone memory first which i cant do :(
