ROMs... Verzion or Sprint or...

I see a lot of ROMs that seem to be sprint specific... but it's usually verzion users who seem to be complaining...

what's the issue with this... cause im a bell(toronto, canada) user so just wondering if using these sprint roms are cool...

forgive the noobishness.

Re: ROMs... Verzion or Sprint or...

That cause most on this here www have Sprint. Thats also why most opt to cook for Sprint, or a good majority cook their customs roms "Generic". But then I find that you don't get some of the fancy tricks or customizations...IMH...

Moved to the Touch Pro Forum.

Actually us Verizon users are not waiting there is ROMs & ktichens for the Verizon ver Touch Pro & Touch Pro2. I have been using a custom ROM for my Touch Pro since earlier this year.

Some Chefs make an "all carrier" ROM/Kitchen. But not sure about Bell tho.

Well you can't forget about the lack of ram on the vzw touch pros. I think that is the biggest complaint. Some of the custom rom just eat up to much ram for us.

Use EnergyROM for 2.5.

I think NFSFAN is the best for 2.1.
Performance, Stability, and Battery Life are the best I've experienced from a ROM, and I have EVDO always on.
