vnc apps...

I've been using Real VNC to connect to my computer, and it works great. Very smooth, accessible over local network or internet. But I saw a random video on Youtube about the HD2, and the person was using Mocha VNC, which had a "hand" feature that allows you to drag the window, whereas Real VNC only scrolls with scrollbars.

What do you guys use/prefer?

I never cared for RealVNC. I use .NET VNC Viewer. Full of features and free.

http://dotnetvnc.sourceforge.net/
  • VNC viewer functionalities.
  • Full screen mode.
  • Client-side scaling.
  • Server-side scaling and single window mode.
  • Screen rotation.
  • Session history.
  • Hi-Res support for VGA Pocket PCs and QVGA Smartphones.
  • Listen mode.
  • etc.

Sounds cool, I'll check it out.

I use RealVNC, but I'm having a problem trying to get my second desktop monitor to show up. If anyone has a known solution for access to that second monitor, I'd be thankful!

Not sure, but that's something I loved about Logmein, is that you can switch monitors so easily. But I like RealVNC in that you can log in over the internet. It seems the other apps only offer local access (over wifi)
