htc task manager replace x button

hi everyone, i was wondering if the x button could be replace for the htc task manager?? it would be so easy to multitask. i know that the htc task manager only comes up when you are in the tf3d and never when a app/program is open. thanks in advance for your help.

Re: htc task manager replace x button

the HTC task manager works the whole time. What U are referring to is the settings icon when you are in TF3D and either there are no programs running or they are running in the background.
But rest assured task manager is working!

yeah i know is working, but my issue is to always have it on top...in other words when a program is open the top right hand corner shows and X button to either minimize or close the program...it would be great to it always be the icon that shows programs running(the htc task manager icon) and never be the X button... sorry im trying to be the most clear possible.

Re: htc task manager replace x button

I understand what your saying! That would be awesome if we could do that! That way you wouldnt have to close the app your on to switch to a different one. You could just tap the top right corner task manager drops down the apps that are running and you could just cycle through the ones you have running! I havent seen anything to make this happen but would be cool!!

Use task Facade so you can switch between running programs without having to go to home screen. Map it to a hardware button, or make it a choice in the start menu which you can open while in a program to launch. It runs at startup so it is always on. You need .net 3.5 to run as well.

I have to agree. Task facade is a great app!
I have tried many task manager programs and this one is the best in my opinion.

I have mine set up to launch on a long press of the Power button.
