World Clock Question

Ok so I added my city using the weather tool, and when I select my city for world clock, instead of giving me Eastern US time zone, it gives me some 3rd world country time zone... is there anyway for me to fix this?? Is there a proper way to add your city to World Clock so you can get the correct weather on the calendar??

Re: World Clock Question

the way i have always done it was to add my city to the weather tab...remove all other locations then go to the world clock an make sure my city is checked by default. see if you cant add another city via the world clock...i currently have 2 in mine buffalo and las vegas.

Im getting the proper weather on the calendar, however when I click the world clock, it shows my town (( 10:48pm... on Long Island, NY )) Then it shows NY time (( 6:26am tomorrow ))

How do I get my newly added city to not have a retarded time zone??

Re: World Clock Question

you have to change your time zone in settings... should read GMT-5 Eastern US

Re: World Clock Question

When I do that... it changes the selection from my custom city to GMT - 5 Eastern US... Then if I select my city again, its still 8 hours behind NY...

Re: World Clock Question

i fear that it may be something to do with the way you're adding a custom city. are you trying to add a town or village on long island?

Re: World Clock Question

Im adding a town from Long Island... In Accuweather it finds my town no problem... There arent really any cities on long island, just towns... we have towns, and counties... If anyone has a way for me to fix this so Hauppauge doesnt come up GMT - 12 In guadamala or whatever it is... please let me know... It is quite irritating...
