WTH are you talking about? I said nothing about drilling holes. Wrong post quoted maybe?

i would love some reviews on this, thanks (cdma users)
I haven't had a chance to read all 4 pages, but I lucked into this one at Best Buy (even though I hate that place ) .... It's got good reviews on there and I'm happy with it.

How did you mount this Nate? I see its got a couple of options. I'm looking for something other than windshield as thats illegal in Cali. Besides it leaves marks all over the glass.

I've got mine on the windshield because it's not illegal here in Florida, and I've still got my Garmin on the dash for now. The kit does come with a plastic disc that has adhesive on the back which sticks to your dash (or anywhere else you want to mount it) and provides a smooth flat surface for the suction cup to adhere to.

Thanks,
Nate

Re: anyone try this car mount for the tp2?

I would VERY highly recommend it. It takes about 3 weeks or so for delivery though. The ONLY (very small) complaint I have is that they didn't put a hole in the back for the speaker so the sound is muffled. It is easy to fix though.

For $10.00, get it. You will not be disappointed, just don't expect quick delivery.
