Question "Connected bluetooth headset doesn't support volume adjustment"?

Everytime I turn on or get within range of my Jabra BT8010 it brings up the message,
"The connected Bluetooth headset does not support volume adjust from the device. Adjust volume on the headset itself"

Does anyone know how to disable this message? I didn't get it on my TP using the same headset. Also, I have no need to adjust the phone volume using the bluetooth.

Thanks to anyone who helps!

Fair comment. I edited my OP and edited the link so it includes a relevant tag now.

Re: "Connected bluetooth headset doesn't support volume adjustment"?

Ok... I have run the CAB referenced in CovKid's OP, but I still need help with another aspect of this issue.

My Bluetooth Car Kit (Scosche) doesn't have a traditional volume control built in, only a dial on the unit which must be adjusted with a screwdriver (and is currently at the Minimum setting) The unit itself is installed behind my dashboard, so "on the fly" adjustments are not feasible. Even with the volume on my BT Receiver set at minimum, the levels being sent by my TP2 are still WAY too high. When I pair my TP2 to it, the audio is incredibly distorted, even when the car stereo's volume is set at 3 or 4 (for comparison, I set the volume at 15-20 for comfortable volume on the radio)

Are there any steps I can take to reduce the levels on the Bluetooth Audio before it is sent by the TP2? I'd like to avoid flashing to a new ROM, if possible.

Re: "Connected bluetooth headset doesn't support volume adjustment"?

I have similar issue but only when trying to adjust my BT speaker. I'd like to be able to adjust the volume through my phone. My TP did this fine but not the TP2.
