How do I put WM 6.5 on my Sprint TP2???
 

I have the Sprint Touch Pro 2. It came with Windows Mobile 6.1.

I want to install Windows 6.5 to my Sprint TP2 but can not figure it out and where to get the correct files.

Basically can someone go step by step with me on how to upgrade my phone to Windows Mobile 6.5 it would be greatly appreciated.

The hardest part is picking which ROM you want.

The easiest ROM to upgrade (in my opinion) is MightMikes, his docs are the best and he has a lot of stuff very streamlined (with a lot of help from his fellow chefs).

I need your help please I installed MightMikes rom and my mms/sms picture mail isn't working I can't send or receive picture mail, can you help with that or give me a step by step on reinstalling 6.1??? THANKS OH SO MUCH

first step, make sure you did the carrier provisioning, directions can be found on mighty mikes thread.

secondly, i dont recall mms picture mail being loaded with mikes rom, it has to be installed seperately. One option is to load the stock sprint picture mail, the other (and one i would highly suggest) is to use arcsoft. I think there is a link on mikes thread. If not, just search the TP2 forums for arcsoft. I would post a cab file but im not at my pc. Simply download the .cab file, transfer it to your sd card, use file explorer on the phone to navigate to it, click on it, and install it. MMS will work without a hitch. arcsoft is the best thing since sliced bread.

heres the cab i use. used it with multiple roms and
have not had any problems including Mightys. hope it helps
