Manilla "Integrated" Messages unuseable?

I have 12K messages synched from my phone. When I try to use the Integrated Messages tab, it takes forever to show up (10-20 seconds) and then when I click on a message to open it up, my phone is frozen for 2-5 minutes. Same thing happens when I reply. I'm using the stock ROM. Anyone else seen this?

HTC Messages is just a really slow app, every time you want to open a conversation it loads each and every text message one at a time. Very annoying.

Don't let google hear you talk like that... or they will send skynet after you.
Lasers from space.

I save everything. Someone please make an easy way to back up texts to gmail (or unix plain text) on the winmo device.

you could always use MS Myphone and archive the old texts so they won't sync each time, but remain archived online.

You could use PIMBackup to backup your texts. I personally have gone 100% Google Voice so Google already owns and archives all my texts for me.

I already back them up to myphone. I want to back them up to gmail so they are searchable and then archive them in myphone.
