Question about modifying e-mail schedule

I have searched the previous threads, but I could not find an answer to this question: How do you modify the default e-mail program to include 6, 8 and 12 hour increments for pushing/checking e-mail? Mind you, I'm not using Outlook, just the regular e-mail account option (no exchange server). I'm trying to conserve the battery life. Anyone?

Open the account you want to change, then go to menu/tools/options - tap the account you want to change and the settings options are there. Hit that thanks button bro

There is no option for 6, 8, or 12 hours. That's the problem; I want to change the interval schedule.

Ah I understand lol. Good thing the no thanks button is gone.
