Just saw a phone commercial bragging that it can allow you to talk on the phone and use and application or talk on the phone and check an email or talk on the phone and browse the internet

First of all, if I'm talking on the phone, I'm talking on the phone and not worried about do anything else other than that... that's just me.

So can our HTC TP2 on Sprint allow us to do these multi-functionality?

No, if the application uses data then no, thats a limitation of the CDMA technology, only GSM can do that (Tmobile, ATT)

NOT TOTALLY TRUE!!! Actualy if im unlocked for US gsm on sprint and Im in gsm mode with my tmobile sim then I can do both things correct?

Exactly. This is more of a network feature,(specifically 3G GSM), than a phone feature.

it comes in handy having to check the web while on a call.. just put in the headphones or put em on speaker or bluetooth and surf the web, gotta love it....... woo hoo tmobile....lol
