The sound quality is abysmal at best. I would say its in the range of 32 to 64 kbps.
It doesn't compare to the quality of sound on the  storm. On the storm it seems like
128 kbps or better. I used to use the aux input on my car nav system for pandora from
The storm, I no longer use it with the windows mobile device as it sounds way worse than FM radio.

Re: Pandora sound quality

I used the Pandora+VGA+IVAN1+SC.cab it sounds fine to me.. maybe the bandwidth in the area you are in is an issue?

Well I don't think it was a bandwidth issue as I got the same lack of quality running on WiFi as I did using the vzw network.
I don't think I used the version you linked to though. I went back to my storm about 2 weeks ago until I find a rom I like for the tp2.
But when I get home I will load that one up on wifi and see what I get.

Re: Pandora sound quality

Advanced Config

advance config -> NETWORK -> TCP Window Size: 65535 -> click on bottom drop down and select 98304 instead.

This is random...
Does the TCP window size have to be exactly 98304?
Cuz I am using the advanced config tool and my TCP window size is 415030 yes... 415030 much larger than 98304.... like 4 times larger.
I stll have issues. I had given up on Pandora once before... Now it's piqued my interest again.

Re: Pandora sound quality

Sound quality is rubbish for me, as well. I know the application is supposed to adjust the stream quality based on connection and it never does.

Re: Pandora sound quality

I've had terrible sound quality with Pandora streaming. Thought it was the bandwidth, however once I added on Wifi Sharing to my TP2, I tried out Pandora on my Ipod touch connected to the phone's wifi router and the sound quality is amazing. Still would like to find a Pandora app that works on the phone so I can just use one device, but that works for me at the present time.
