Spiderweb Crack on Lens... Possible to swap Lens? Read for info.

My screen is spiderweb cracked too...

I went to my Sprint store to try to get it fixed like I used to with my TP1 but they said they cant as how they dont quite sell that model yet and have no repair screens.

The touch screen works all perfectly... And I've seen on eBay these things
http://cgi.ebay.com/LCD-Touch-Screen...item5884266f1c

But i dont think that will fix the crack. I can slide my nail across the whole screen (without the clear screen protector film) and not feel the crack... I cannot find the actual glass part of it for the life of me... Also the ebay item is for the Original TP2...
Idk, is it possible that the clear piece on the ebay item is swappable without using the black frame it comes with? I have a Sprint TP2 and the original TP2 has an extra little hole for the cam which my phone doesnt have...

Any help would be HIGHLY appreciated

I have the same issue as I am with Sprint and my screen is cracked. The ebay item you are looking at is for GSM phones only. You won't find any CDMA digitizers on ebay for the touch pro 2 yet...

As of right now, our only option is to get it repaired by HTC- or a Sprint store that has the touch pro 2. I spoke at length with HTC and they were less than helpful.

Oh really? I did not realize that AT&T was not the same... I didnt say that at all on the first post...

My question is can I change the plastic (the clear see throught invisible piece that is cracked) onto the black piece that says Sprint (the frame).
So... we have piece A (att digitizer with the screen that I need) And piece B (my original digitizer which is cracked and from sprint...)
I dont want to use the whole piece A, i want ONLY the plastic screen for piece B... Can the plastic screen be swapped onto the piece B frame?

thats for those who generalize and read 2 words then think that im an idiot and dont see that the ATT digitizer clearly is not the same...

The digitizer is one piece- you can't just "swap" out the glass. Sorry.

BTW- And I wasn't generalizing your post either. My reading comprehension is on point and I read every word...

I had the same problem, the phone was less than a week old so sprint just ordered me a new one.

The problem isn't with the actual LCD- it's with the digitizer- the glass covering the LCD. But thank you!

Re: Spiderweb Crack on Lens... Possible to swap Lens? Read for info.

Apology appreciated, but not needed. We all have those days. Plus, yours is now compounded by the fact that you have a spiderweb cracked phone. Trust me- I feel your pain. My stomach dropped to my feet when I cracked mine. I'll be sending mine to HTC, unless a sprint digitizer shows up soon.

Good luck getting yours fixed, and I hope your day gets better.
