Re: S2U2 Vs Pocketshield

I agree with appzattack, disable the part that has to do with answering the phone and you wont have any problems

Re: S2U2 Vs Pocketshield

S2U2 is so far above PS in the features/looks department it's not even funny, but PS is great on battery life, so

Wirelessly posted (Opera/9.7 (WindowsMobile; PPC; Opera Mobi/35541; U; en; Presto/2.1.1))

I use s2u2. I didnt like how ps looked and functioned. I dont have battery problems either. The only options enable are the lock when I hit power and auto dismiss notifications. I disable auto lock when screen dims and auto shutoff. I get through a whole day of work and my battery is still around 40%.

Exactly.

I really can't imagine anybody trying PS & then going back to the bloated s2u2.

I used s2u2 back in the titan days, but I would never use it anymore.

Re: S2U2 Vs Pocketshield

bump to Jmort...

I was a S2U2 user before jumping ship to PS. In fact jmort pointed me in that direction.

Since flashing to 6.5 and higher ROMs, I'm perfectly content with the slide lock that comes native to the 6.5. Simple, clean...pair it with Smart Lock...you're golden!

I agree with that.

I still prefer PS (mainly because that's what I'm used to), but if I didn't have PS I would go that route myself.

When v.2.10 came out I went back to S2U2 as the battery drain issue seems to be fixed. PS was too bland for me. If you use all the features then S2u2 isn't bloated at all. But if you are just looking for a simple lock program then PS would probably be better suited for you.

Re: S2U2 Vs Pocketshield

A cool that PS offers is you can have it unlock to light. So when you pull it out of your case, it will automatically unlock. Hence, no need to even slide when it is out, and is fully protected while in case......

Sorry about the themes....That is the only thing not free. Only allows one with trial.......But you can see if you want to spend the money on it as all the lock features are available. I personally like the default theme the best after trying the others. Just put a nice background pic and you are good to go!

Re: S2U2 Vs Pocketshield

Seriously, S2U2? Bloated? LOL......ookk..

At any rate, the day A_C makes S2U2 not drain battery is the day I will switch back. I'm aching for reasons to get rid of PocketShield but none have come around. It simply is the best locking program that does not drain battery in the least.
