Exclamation htc leo on sprint
just wondering if possible since the touch pro 2 has a sim card...would you be able to use a gsm device such as the htc leo

No it will not, Sprint is CDMA and Data will nor will normal Cell usage work with Sprint as the DEC/IMEI number will be recoginzed by Sprint's system.

The TP2 has the sim card to connect to GSM networks abroad. It is a CDMA phone domestically (as are all Sprint phones). Therefore a GSM device such as the Leo could not be used on Sprint's network which again is CDMA, and not GSM.

What we need to hope for is a CDMA Leo, now that would be something! I think it will happen, I remember salivating over the GSM TP2 and we got that (eventually) in a CDMA version, so there is no reason to think the Leo won't follow suit.

rumor is leo pro is coming... but some guy on the ppc news forums swears the htc leo coming out to sprint last week of december lol but has no proof or anything so probobly just another idiot.

Leo is coming in the CDMA form of the Passion/Dragon, to Verizon, but with Android instead of WinMo.

It's not exactly the same device layout as Leo, but same syatem specs.

I have also been told Leo IS coming to Sprint real soon!

lol and where is the proof? also didnt htc say they COULD make an android of the leo but wont...till See some evidence like we did with tp2 coming to sprint this willl be in the rumor category. Id love to beleive it but I dont wanna get my hopes up
