Question about Global mode on Sprint

My TP2 came with SIM card already in the phone. I do not travel outside the country (at least not now); When the phone turns on, says global mode. Does it matter if it is in Global mode or not? Should I turn it to a different mode or take out the SIM card?

you can leave it as is. its not gonna hurt anything or cost you any extra every month.
