Distribution lists for text messaging?
 

Is there a way to have different distribution lists for messaging? I have different groups of friend that I commonly invite out to bars or over to the house for a game. I’d rather not have to select them manually each time.

I use Group SMS. It's free and quite simple to understand and use.

How do you add distribution lists? I can add mulitple phone numbers but not put them in a group I can access the next time.

I put the name of the distribution list I want in the category field in my contacts.

ahhh... I get it..... you have to edit each contact and put whatever you want in the categories field....

I use MobiMsg 1.0, works great. You can add the same contact to mutlipe lists.
