If you like the program, keep using it. The best way to resolve your battery issue is to buy extra batteries. I has 3 and carry 2 with me every day. If I got all 3 line up, I can watch Youtube all day.
Hmm... I wonder how people actually carry multiple batteries, especially for one program.

I love s2u2. It's unfortunate it drains the battery too fast for me to use. Again, I liked it, but it's not extra-battery worth it.

well heres the problem, I don't watch youtube videos all day, I need my phone to last me all day and untill the next morning at normal usage, that's what I paid good money for.

It "was" doing that before I installed S2U2.

I'm not ven talking about normal usage, I'm talking about when the phones screen is OFF, it's stting there, no calls, no texts and it's draining FAST. All this power for a program that I only need it to lock the screen while in my pocket and I don't have to punch in a pin number.

These are the specs for the battery

Quote:
Battery Rechargeable Lithium-ion battery
Capacity: 1500 mAh
Talk time:
  • Up to 390 minutes for WCDMA
  • Up to 510 minutes for GSM
Standby time:
  • Up to 750 hours for WCDMA
  • Up to 500 hours for GSM
Video call time: Up to 160 minutes
(The above are subject to network and phone usage.)
Now I don't expect 750 hours standby, but at least from morning to night.

Well, I uninstalled and reinstalled s2u2, left it at it's default settings, it's at 46% after 7 hours, 20 calls all around a minute and a few texts, maybe a minute on google maps and 2-3 minutes of web surfing.

At this point, if I don't use the phone untill morning, it should still be on. If it lasted 10 hours (7 am) and died at 7 am, it would discharge at 4.6% an hour (4.6% of what the battery charge is now).
