Phone HARD reset itself !

Running latest version of Mighty Rom, loaded all contacts 2 days ago, and used a couple of the add-ons on the MR main pages, like the Midomi cab, and alternate splash screen. Phone has been perfect. Last night I noticed with no programs running the memory usage was at 91%. Powered off and then back on, and set phone down during boot. About 5 minutes later I hear the "power-on vibrate" again, and when it boots the phone looks like a fresh flash of MR. Everything on device lost, thankfully all my important stuff is backed up on the SD. Curious as to whether anyone has experienced this. Thanks.

Re: Phone HARD reset itself !

I've had this happen before on my TP with energy ROM. The solution there was to flash to stock ROM and then Re-Flash the ROM that you want. I did stop the random hard resets.

Re: Phone HARD reset itself !

^ Yup, recovery was painless (<20 minutes), but I was just floored that it did it!! That could be bad in an emergency, not that it's likely to reoccur.

Re: Phone HARD reset itself !

This happened to me in the middle of the night. Woke up this morning, luckily not late for work since my alarm was set on my phone.

Re: Phone HARD reset itself !

I also had my phone hard reset itself twice since installing the last Mighty ROM.

I was just glad to read others had the same/similar issues.

Yep, it happened again twice since last post from me. Also went to stock Sprint rom, with no problems for a few days, then back to mighty.. Same problem, his rom has a hard-reset bug for sure. Friend's phone did it too.
