Just Wondering TP2 and Android aps

I was just thinking is it possible to use the aps that are for the android like in its marketplace on my Touch Pro 2? Just a thought that crossed my mind.

no you can't use those aps. android os is different then the winmo os, those apps are built specifically for their particular OS.

Re: Just Wondering TP2 and Android aps

Theoretically it's possible with a talented porter. Android apps are essentially run in a Java VM,... if someone could port or replicate that Java VM in a WM environment then its possible.

But right now it isnt.

Re: Just Wondering TP2 and Android aps

Found this link. Haven't tried it yet but it seems like something you're looking for. It deals with using an image of linux to boot up with. Doesn't flash the rom or anything like that.
