Re: Should I upgrade to 6.5 ?
UPGRADE. You can flash back to stock if you don't like it. Be sure to read all of the tutorials before jumping in.

Re: Should I upgrade to 6.5 ?
This is so true, custom roms give a lot better experience with your phone.
Once you have unlocked you can flash away. Flashing back to stock is no problem either. Like what was said, You won't regret it.

Re: Should I upgrade to 6.5 ?
The 6.5 ROM I would upgrade to is the official from HTC. No cooked ROMs. Does it still apply that I should upgrade, even if it is the official ROM ?
Also, how do I downgrade if I don't like 6.5 ? Should I just download a previous ROM version (not 6.5) and install it "on top" of my 6.5 ROM ? Regards, Jakob |

Re: Should I upgrade to 6.5 ?
I love WM 6.5 myself, but not everybody likes it better (some people claim it is slower than 6.1)
If you don't like it, you can always reflash the stock 6.1 ROM & the system will revert back to exactly the way you bought it. ~John |

If I'm correct you would want to go xda.... http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=479 above is a link.... As far as the HTC 6.5 upgrade, I'm unsure if its for your phone/carrier.... XDA would have a better answer for you if indeed your phone is for a GSM carrier.... PPCGeeks specializes in Cdma carriers while XDA specializes in GSM networks.... Re: Should I upgrade to 6.5 ?
TDC is GSM. I bought my phone unlocked, so I can use whatever carrier I want. It came with the original HTC ROM.
I've just tried WM6.5 and I really liked it. I didn't see much difference in speed but there was one thing... It seemed to be less sensitive when using my finger on the touchscreen. No problems with the stylus... Also, I did find the icons on the home screen (Home, Contacts, Messages etc.) to be a bit small and more fuzzy... Not as sharp and clear as with WM 6.1... Is it possible to get a standard TouchFLO 3D cab for WM6.5 ? Regards, Jakob |
