This will enable you to receive and download MMS without giving a "Unable to download MMS".

Oh yeah make sure in the HTC messaging settings, Select your desired photo resolution and Camera captured resolution.

"DO NOT" install the Sprint Arcsoft 5.00.XX cab. or the Carrier cab. this will brake the receiving MMS through the HTC messaging app.

This has been tested on My sprint TP2 not sure if it works on other Roms or Carriers

thanks, i just got this, i will give it a try. so my situation is a little different, i have started cooking my own roms and i don't even install manilla but i can still install the messaging client. i will not install arcsoft but i will get the fix cab you are talking about, and i will make those changes. I may not even need to install the fix cab since i don't have mms installed but i will try both ways. thanks once again.

I GOT IT TO WORK! im on sprint tp2: juicy R2. but make sure you have that additional arcsoft uninstalled. you have to install this without any installed cabs for the mms/txt, including the hide htc messaging one

EDIT: as of an hr ago both sms and mms stopped working >_<

EDIT: 10:05pm sms/mms has been working since 6 till now. weird idk why its not working then working not workin then workin again.

Re: htc messenger

When you guys say that the HTC app receives MMS, are you able to open a picture full screen from within the HTC app or do you still need to go into the WM default messaging to open the picture??

Re: htc messenger

I did the steps too and it didn't work for me . I'm on my touch pro using EnergyROM 21877 12/04/09. Hopefully soon I can get it to work, so I can receive mms.

Are you sure they're being received? Or are you just going on the message sent notification on your phone? Thus far, I don't think anyone on Sprint has had a message successfully go through, despite what the phone reports. Read up here:
