Is there a car mount for the TP2 when using the Navigation?

I just finished a long road trip using the navigation in my Sprint TP2. Needless to say it was frustrating to constantly have to look down to the cup holder on the console in the car where I had my TP2 sitting to see the directions. Is there any type of car mount that people are using for this purpose where it will be right in front of you and highly visible like the ones you see for the Garmins and other brands of nav devices?

I don't believe that there is an OEM one. There are plenty of generic ones, you just have to make sure that they fit.

Haicaom makes one that is designed for the TP2 http://www.haicomholland.nl/s_holder.shtml HI-046. But the only place to buy it buygpsnow website seems to be down right now.

If you street park in the city, I wouldn't even suggest one since bums will take the chance and break in if they see a mark of a GPS holder on the winshield lol.

Re: Is there a car mount for the TP2 when using the Navigation?

ProClips has told me they are working on a mount for the TP2, I have always liked there mounts specifically for the way they install! Check them out and see if they have the mount for your car and take a look at the install instructions, ive never seen them ask you to drill holes or do anything that would leave a permanent mark, which is why I love thier mounts.

This will be no different than the marks left by the holder for my Valentine One radar detector and I have never had an issue with it.

If these guys don't have something to work with your device, your device doesn't exist:

Or maybe it is your vehicle that doesn't exist. Hard to say.

Re: Is there a car mount for the TP2 when using the Navigation?

I got one from meritline, cheap and good:
http://www.meritline.com/cell-phone-...---c-8165.aspx
less than $10, they're all universal holders so you can adjust to any size, i have a case on my tp2.

Re: Is there a car mount for the TP2 when using the Navigation?

Use the search engine and search for car mount in this forum. I posted along with a few others a great car mount for 10.00 on ebay. Allows slide out when snapped in with windshield suction cup.
