Issue: phone refuse to charge when plugged to pc (sync works ok)
 

Hi there !

My issue is resumed in the thread title

Recently, when i plug my phone to my pc, the sync work as it's supposed to, but the pc don't charge the ppc...

Another think, i realised that the black cable start to show fatigue in "small usb" connection side...

I changed the cable with another cable, but my problem remain the same

BUT, when i use the cables with the A/C adapter, the cables charge the phone as they should do...

Go into Settings then Battery.

Uncheck the box that says "When device is on, do not charge when connected to PC"

that is my first guess. if that doesnt work, try a different usb port on the pc. sometimes they have different power output. the one you are connected to might not be enough to charge.

Ditto on both posts above. From personal experience, I have two USB ports in the front of one of my desktop machines. One will charge the phone, the other won't.

i had the same problem and tried different computers and different cables. Worked for weeks, but just stopped working out of no where. I ended up hard resetting the phone and it worked again.

First question... Do you even get an orange light or does it not seem to charge it all.

If you are getting the light but no charge... keep an eye on this thread http://www.nuerom.com/BlogEngine/pos...MA-status.aspx

No2chem's battery cab for the tp1 worked wonders. Basically it allows the save power current that you would normally get from a wall to be outputted to your phone when plugged in through usb

I was having the same problem...just charged with wall charger...thanks for the answers...didnt even think to look for an option to charge while plugged into pc.
