has anyone used the tp2 out of the us yet?

does it only require a sim phone and it will operate properly?

There has been at least one or two postings from folks saying it works outside of the us just fine.

You question is a little confusing but I'll take a stab at it:

It doesn't need anything to work outside of the US (as long as you still have your Sprint SIM installed, or as long as you are on a CDMA network).

Sprint charges alot for their services though (about 2.00 a minute!), you may find better deals if you just buy a pre-paid sim from the country(ies) you might visit. Or even better, buy a world sim.

If you are roaming in a country with CDMA networks (South Korea, etc) then all you need to do is turn your phone on.
