HTC Wifirouter changes my power settings
 

Every time I use HTC wifirouter the settings I have under Settings -> Power -> Advanced are removed for having the phone go into sleep mode after 1 minute on or off AC power. Anyone else have this issue?

thats supposed to happen. the connection dies if the screen goes off

No, the connection dies if the phone goes into sleep mode. I have turned off the screen everytime I use htc wifi router and it continue's working. So why then are the sleep settings getting cleared every time?

I think you've answered your own question. If the phone goes into sleep mode after one minute, you'll lose the data connection.

your logic is correct my man, however our phones arent logical lol. I used to use wm wifi router on my titan and I'd turn just the screen off and that would serve as somewhat of an intermedium between the screen being on and the phone going into sleep mode, i.e. my sleep settings were not changed and the phone did not go into sleep mode while the screen was off.

I know if you enable wifi in stanby mode wifi router still works if I turn off the phone....but eaither way once you turn off wifi router it will change your settings back
