Plug the phone into the computer with the USB cable. the PC should recognize the phone and display it as a hard drive. Just copy the file onto the phone and then go to File Explorer on the phone and run it to install.

Re: CAB file transfer?

There are many ways. Move them to your phones documents shortcut and let activesync (Mobile Device Center if using Vista) save them to your phone. Or, open activesync (MDC) and explore your device and save them to the folder to your choosing. Or lastly, remove your MicroSD card and save to that device (so if you do a hard reset thay are there for U).

Re: CAB file transfer?

Or plug the phone in and use disk drive and copy them straight to the card without removing it.

Re: CAB file transfer?

Everyone missed a real easy one - email it to yourself. An added benefit is that by putting what the file does or is in the subject line, you can find it easy on your computer

+1 on email. Save the file to your storage card and run from there with file explorer. Check out the Resco file explorer. I keep all my cabs in a folder on my storage card for easy reinstall after a flash.
