Question Vibration seem a little...violent? lol

I don't know how else to describe the vibration on my phone. Compared to the original TP, this thing vibrates so much and loud that sometimes if I don't have my ringer volume up loud enough, the vibration completely covers the sound!

I can't remember if it was like this on the Stock ROM, but I'm currently running Energys Leo ROM.

Anyone know ofa fix or at least have this issue themselves? Maybe it doesn't bother other people, lol.

Agree its overkill, I have to use silent at work since it makes so much noise its louder than most ring tones, wish we could calm the thing down, friends in other states don't need to feel the phone vibrate.

HA! I do the same thing at work! It's a little annoying since I have to look at my phone every 5 minutes to see if I've had a call/text. So no fixes on this issue yet?

Btw David, what ROM are you on?

Re: Vibration seem a little...violent? lol

I'm on MightROM and I'm also having trouble with this ridiculously loud vibration. I remember having some trouble similar to this when I had my Mogul, but not nearly this bad. I'll be in class with it on vibrate, and when I receive a text everyone can hear it. It's not even an extremely powerful vibration, it's just loud. Possibly there is a registry edit to change the vibration length in ms and we can mess with it to change things up a bit.

I'm not great at total commander, but I can look around in it. BUT! Do NOT rely on me, lol, last time I was messing around in registry my keyboard stopped working, all buttons (even power button) stopped working. SO! With that said, I'll see what I can (can't) do.

Yea, I uninstalled Touch Response (Haptic feedback), because I could hear the vibrate much louder than I could feel it. It sounded like the phone was loose and going to vibrate apart.
